Brendyn Taylor, a standout guard at Los Angeles Fairfax who played in only seven games last season before the CIF declared him ineligible after transferring from View Park, will return on Jan. 11 in a deal with the CIF, according to Coach Harvey Kitani.

‘The matter has been resolved,’ City Section Commissioner Barbara Fiege said.

Taylor, a senior, will give the Lions a big-time boost in the scoring department. His availability, combined with the recent approval of 6-foot-7 Anthony January at Taft, has changed the balance of power in the City Section, making Taft and Fairfax the favorites to play for a City title in March.
