What a year it has been for the Muno family.

JJ Muno was an all-league baseball player last spring as a sophomore for Sherman Oaks Notre Dame. Now he’s headed for an all-league football season as a junior, emerging as a top defensive player for the Knights.

Sister Susannah, a freshman at Notre Dame, helped the Knights’ girls’ volleyball team win the Mission League championship this season with a 10-0 league record and 27-2 overall mark.

Their father, Larry, has St. Bernard at 9-0 in his rookie season as coach. His quarterback, Christian Smith, passed for 475 yards last week against Mary Star and has passed for 2,879 yards on the season.

Cousin Danny Muno led the New York-Penn League in batting.

Come Thanksgiving, the Munos will have plenty to be thankful for.
