Football: Santa Margarita-LB Poly figures to be a good one

Long Beach Poly Coach Raul Lara and Santa Margarita Coach Harry Welch warmly greeted each other before Friday’s Southern Section Pac-5 Division quarterfinal game, each offering great respect for the other’s team. That’s the setting for what should be an all-out, memorable contest.

Santa Margarita will have running back Ryan Wolpin, who was questionable because of a shoulder injury.

This game will be about execution on offense and taking advantage of every scoring opportunity, because the offenses figure to be in control.
