Football: Defenses take charge

Crenshaw and Dorsey have each had one possession and gone nowhere on offense. Crenshaw got the ball on the opening kickoff and a 35-yard return combined with a 15-yard personal foul penalty gave the Cougars the ball on the Dorsey 35.

Dorsey's defense didn't budge. Then the Dons took over and didn't do anything other than punt.

Dorsey's defense looks as good as advertised, and it's early.
