Football: Crenshaw-Dorsey game is big

November 3, 2011 |  7:53 am

Brian Price plays defensive tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I spoke to him by phone earlier this week, and he had this to say about Thursday night's Coliseum League football game between Dorsey and host Crenshaw: "It's bigger than UCLA-USC."

Enough said. Price played at Crenshaw and UCLA.

The game brings out alumni en masse, and the intensity level should be outstanding. You also have two veteran coaches in Robert Garrett of Crenshaw and Paul Knox of Dorsey who know how to get their teams ready to play.

Game time is 7 p.m.
