Football: Charter schools can't practice on Thanksgiving [Update]

November 22, 2011 |  7:49 am

John Aguirre, the assistant commissioner in the City Section, has changed his mind. Earlier Tuesday, he concluded that charter schools in the City Section could practice on Thanksgiving and LAUSD schools could not.

But he now says after reading the rules more closely, all schools in the City Section are barred from practicing on Thanksgiving.

End of debate. For now.
