Junior running back Charlie Etiaki of Anaheim Servite returned to action last week in impressive fashion, scoring touchdowns on runs of 72 and 52 yards against Santa Ana Mater Dei after being sidelined because of a broken collarbone.

He’s an example of why Servite keeps winning and winning. The Friars found other players to step in while Etiaki got healthy. They didn’t rush him back, either. And when he returned, he was ready.

He should be in even better shape for Friday’s Trinity League title decider against Santa Margarita. His speed adds a new element to Servite’s offensive attack and makes him an intriguing college prospect for 2013.
