Football: Chaminade is preparing for Serra athleticism

November 9, 2011 |  7:47 am

On Friday night, the Mission League championship game features West Hills Chaminade (8-1) taking on host Gardena Serra (7-2). Chaminade is trying to clinch the No. 1 seed for the Western Division playoffs.

I dropped by Chaminade on Tuesday to talk with quarterback Logan Scott, running back Terrell Newby and Coach Ed Croson. All have great respect for Serra.

Chaminade knows it has to deal with the Cavaliers' speed and athleticism.
