Football: A grade-changing scandal in Illinois

The wife of a high school football coach in Illinois allegedly inflated the grades for 64 students, including 41 football players, according to authorities, the Chicago Tribune reported.

Sara Glashagel, 27, a special education teacher at Antioch Community High School, has been charged with tampering with computer records, a misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail and a $2,500 fine. She has been placed on administrative leave.

Her husband, Brian Glashagel, the football coach, was not charged and is not being investigated by the district.
