Cross country: A big week ahead for JSerra coach

San Juan Capistrano JSerra girls’ cross country coach Marty Duguard should be very excited. His team will be seeking to win its second consecutive state title on Saturday at the state championships in Fresno.

Then, on Dec. 1, ‘A Warrior’s Heart’ will have its world debut about a mile from JSerra. The movie is about a star lacrosse player whose Marine father dies in Iraq. Duguard wrote the screen play. It will be shown at the Regency San Juan Capistrano theater as part of a school fundraiser.
