Baseball: USA 18U team reconvenes in Miami

Members of the USA 18U national baseball team returned to Miami on Wednesday to prepare before departing next week for the COPABE Junior AAA/18U Pan American Championships in Cartagena, Columbia.

Among the players are Chase DeJong from Long Beach Wilson, Hunter Virant from Camarillo, Cole Irvin from Anaheim Servite and Jeremy Martinez from Santa Ana Mater Dei.

The tournament is scheduled for Nov. 17-27.

They shot a video of players announcing the schools where they had signed a letter of intent.
