Football: Reseda takes step toward repeating as league champs

Reseda had four interceptions, including touchdown returns by Heber Silva and Anthony Lemus, to defeat Canoga Park, 27-0, in a Valley Mission League game.

Reseda is 5-2 overall and 3-0 in league. The Regents appear headed to a second consecutive league championship.

One of the Regents' top players is junior receiver-safety Jevon Walton, who's 6 feet 1 and fast. He caught two touchdown passes and helped lead the secondary.
