Football: Kenny Washington Memorial Game set for Friday night

The first Kenny Washington Memorial Football Game will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Los Angeles Lincoln honoring the former UCLA and NFL player who helped integrate the National Football League. Family, friends and supporters of Washington are expected to attend the game.

The game will launch a fundraising effort to name Lincoln's stadium after Washington and provide for upgrades of the facility through the Kenny Washington Stadium Foundation.

Lincoln is 4-0 and plays Torres in the nonleague game.
