For one night, students from public schools can stick out their chests and brag a little.

It was Dorsey over Alemany, Upland over Loyola and Vista Murrieta over Crespi. Three victories by public schools over Pac-5 teams. That doesn’t happen too often. And Narbonne defeated Gardena Serra.
