Football: The upset of the weekend

Riverside North's 36-35 victory over No. 5-ranked Mission Hills Alemany serves notice that second-year Coach Mark Paredes has the Huskies back in high gear. Last season, North went 2-8.

North got a touchdown run from Denzel Foster with 53 seconds left, then converted a two-point conversion. Alemany had broken a 21-21 halftime tie with two touchdowns and was headed to victory until mistakes opened the way for a Huskies comeback.
