Football: Santa Margarita has 21-7 halftime lead over Trabuco Hills

There have been six interceptions in the first half, with Santa Margarita picking off four passes to take a 21-7 halftime lead over Trabuco Hills in a battle of 2-0 teams Thursday night in Mission Viejo.

Ryan Wolpin has scored two touchdowns on short runs for Santa Margarita. Reid Andrew has two interceptions, including a 26-yard return for a touchdown.

Mathew Kirkland has intercepted Santa Margarita quarterbck Johnny Stanton twice. Mitchell Simonsen has a 49-yard touchdown run for Trabuco HIlls.
