Football: Long Beach Poly holds on to late lead

Narbonne has had its chances in the fourth quarter, taking over drives at the Long Beach Poly 30-yard line and 41 needing a touchdown to pull out the intersectional victory.

But the Gauchos went three and out on both drives. Now they’ll get one more chance.

Poly took over at its own three-yard line with 3 minutes 40 seconds left and couldn’t pick up a first down. The Jackrabbits will have to punt with 1:32 remaining.
