Football: Crespi is winning but opponents aren't

September 18, 2011 | 10:05 am

Encino Crespi Athletic Director Matt Luderer gets the award as the best schedule maker in high school football. The first four opponents for the Celts _ Dominguez, L.A. Jordan, Clovis West and Palisades _ have a combined record of 1-10.

He has helped Coach Jon Mack's team go 3-0, with another expected win coming Friday against 0-2 Palisades.

Then, the Celts get their first real test in two weeks against Vista Murrieta.

The Celts are in the second year of two-year contracts, and their opponents were much better last season.
