Boys’ basketball: Mater Dei to play La Verne Lutheran

There’s been a change in matchups for the Nike Extravaganza at Santa Ana Mater Dei on Feb. 3 and 4.

The host Monarchs will play La Verne Lutheran on Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

Other intriguing matchups on Feb. 4 include Taft-Loyola at 4:30 p.m.; Long Beach Poly-Orange Lutheran at 6 p.m. and Bishop Gorman-Whitney Young (Ill.) at 9 p.m.

On Feb. 3, the L.A. Windward girls’ team plays Mater Dei at 9 p.m.
