Pitcher Megan Reiner, who recently completed her senior season at Los Angeles Marshall, pitched a complete-game three-hitter to lead Los Angeles to the Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities World Series title on Sunday in Minneapolis with a 3-0 victory over Santo Domingo.

Reiner struck out nine and went one for three with a run scored on the way to being selected the game’s most valuable player. She helped Los Angeles finish the tournament undefeated and become the first team to repeat as champions since Atlanta won titles from 2001-07.
