Los Angeles Garfield Coach Lorenzo Hernandez decided long ago that the way to improve his players and program is to take on challenging opponents.

So the Bulldogs will start the season with three consecutive road games against La Puente Bishop Amat, Huntington Beach Edison and Los Angeles Dorsey.

Hernandez talked about the schedule and who’s going to win the annual Garfield-Roosevelt game.
