Huntington Beach Edison’s trip to Hawaii turned out to be a positive experience. The Chargers opened their season with a 48-10 victory over Baldwin.

Quarterback Chase Favreau passed for 227 yards and four touchdowns while also scoring a TD.

Edison’s defense allowed 138 yards.

Fountain Valley won its opener with a 52-49 victory over Green Valley in Henderson, Nev.
