Carson Coach Elijah Asante likes his team taking on the best, and that’s what the Colts will face this fall, with nonleague games against Santa Ana Mater Dei, Mission Viejo, Long Beach Poly and Santa Margarita.
Asante talked about what he is trying to accomplish and some of the players who will be key to making it through the nonleague schedule.
Carson opens its season on Sept. 2 against Mater Dei.
