Gabe York continues to turn the Adidas Nations tournament into his own personal highlight reel.

The Orange Lutheran senior guard has averaged 24.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.0 assists through Team USA 2012 Red’s first four games in the event at the Hangar Athletic Club in Harbor City. That’s more points than any other player in the tournament is averaging and twice as many points as the next-highest scorer on his team.

On Sunday, York scored 23 points during Team USA 2012 Red’s 82-63 victory over Asia and then had 25 points during his team’s 87-86 loss to Team USA 2012 Blue. Mater Dei’s Xavier Johnson added six points and four rebounds for Team USA 2012 Red in the latter game.

Crenshaw junior Isaac Hamilton scored 13 points during Team USA 2013 Blue’s 98-70 victory over Latin America and had 16 points during his team’s 106-97 loss to undefeated Team USA 2013 Red. Mater Dei’s Shaqquan Aaron had 12 points for the latter team in that game.

Team USA Blue 2012 leads Pool A with a 5-0 record, the same record Team USA 2013 Red has to lead Pool B.
