Though they were considered to have as much talent as anyone competing in the Area Code Games, the Southern California-laden Milawaukee Brewers finished with a ho-hum 2-1-2 record.

In their finale Wednesday, the Brewers tied the Texas Rangers, 4-4, with Bishop Amat’s Rio Ruiz driving in Edison’s Timothy Lopes as part of a three-run second inning. Two of the runs were unearned.

The Rangers rallied to tie the score in the seventh on a home run by Courtney Hawkins. Umpires departed after the final out of the inning, preventing the game from going extra innings.
