Baseball: Damon Aikins nearly hits for cycle for Venice Boys & Girls Club RBI

Damon Aikins fell a single short of hitting for the cycle Thursday in Minneapolis after getting a home run, triple, double and walk during Venice Boys & Girls Club RBI's 15-5 victory over Houston RBI in the Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities World Series.

Aikins went three for three with a game-high five runs batted in and scored four runs. First baseman Juan Avena also went three for three with three RBIs and three runs scored. Third baseman Mike Duarte went three for four with three RBIs.
