Football: Players head to Florida in two weeks

Another week, another extravaganza for a select group of local football players. Five will be traveling to Florida for the ESPN RISE Games Gridiron Kings competition in Orlando, Fla., on July 23-24.

Scheduled to participate are Ishmael Adams from Oaks Christian, Darius Powe from Lakewood, Jaydon Mickens from Dorsey, Jabari Ruffin from Downey and Robert Lewis from South East.
