Football: Hayden Rettig gives L.A. Cathedral offensive firepower

July 18, 2011 |  7:56 am

There's no mistaking the physical abilities of 6-foot-4, 205-pound junior quarterback Hayden Rettig of L.A. Cathedral. He's built to take a hit and has an arm to fling the ball as far as he needs.

If the Phantoms can block a little and catch some passes, they're going to produce some exciting moments for their fans this fall.

Rettig has four scholarship offers, according to Coach Kevin Pearson, including ones from Arizona and Arizona State.

All he needs is to keep progressing and he'll be one of the best in the Southland.
