Football: Claremont tournament begins on Friday

The last major seven-on-seven passing tournament of the summer is the Claremont tournament that takes place Friday and Saturday at Claremont High.

Action begins on Friday at 2 p.m. Among the teams entered are L.A. Cathedral, led by junior quarterback Hayden Rettig, and Encino Crespi, which is trying to develop its passing attack and find a starting quarterback.
