Woodland Hills Taft is taking applications this week for its vacant boys’ basketball coaching position. Assistant principal Robert Clarke said a committee has been formed, and the school hopes to have a new coach in place by the end of the month.

Applications can be sent to Robert.Clarke@LAUSD.net.

Derrick Taylor resigned to become the coach at Bellflower St. John Bosco.

Former Taft player Colin Jamerson, who used to coach at Chatsworth Sierra Canyon, could be a candidate.
