Baseball: USC lands two top prep pitchers

USC has received commitments from the top two senior-to-be pitchers from the Moore League in Chase DeJong from Long Beach Wilson and Shane Watson from Lakewood.

It’s a triumph for the Trojans’ recently hired pitching coach, Dan Hubbs.

Of course, the key will be making sure both show up in the fall of 2012 instead of signing professional contracts.
