Baseball: Loyola earns spot in South Bay final

Los Angeles Loyola advanced to the championship game of the South Bay Baseball Summer League with a 10-4 victory over North Torrance.

John Soteropulos, Quinn Borodey, Brandon Shirley and Chad Powers each had two hits.

Loyola will play the winner of Saturday morning’s Mira Costa-San Pedro game in Saturday’s 7 p.m. final at Marine Park in Manhattan Beach.
