Track and field: Long Beach Poly wins girls' 4x100 relay

The fastest girls' 4x100 relay team in the nation exerted its power Saturday at Clovis Buchanan High, where Long Beach Poly won the event in 45.70 seconds at the state track and field meet.

The time was slightly off the Jackrabbits' nation-leading 45.04 but still plenty impressive. Rancho Verde was second in 46.25 and Corona Roosevelt third in 46.81.
