Girls’ basketball: Lauren Holiday commits to UCLA

Lauren Holiday of North Hollywood Campbell Hall, the sister of former UCLA guard Jrue Holiday, has committed to play basketball for the Bruins, her mother, Toya, said Sunday.
The 5-foot-8 Holiday is known as a versatile player and strong defender. She will be a senior this fall.
She is part of an amazing athletic family. Oldest brother Justin just graduated from Washington, where he was a starter. Jrue is the standout point guard for the Philadelphia 76ers. And youngest brother Aaron is an incoming freshman at Campbell Hall who projects as a top collegel prospect.
