Football: Westlake, LB Poly are the teams to beat

The championship round in the Saugus seven-on-seven passing tournament is set to begin at 4 p.m. at Central Park, with Westlake Village Westlake and Long Beach Poly the two most impressive teams from Friday’s opening day of action in the 24-team tournament.
Oaks Christian went 2-0-1. The Lions were inconsistent on offense, dropping some passes and not getting consistent play at the quarterback position.
Sherman Oaks Notre Dame went 1-2. Valencia lost to Westlake, then defeated Campbell Hall.
