Football: National kicking camp starts Monday

They’re coming by plane, top kickers from around the country, for Chris Sailer’s kicking camp that starts on Monday at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame.

One of the best taking part will be Conrad Ukropina of Los Angeles Loyola. He figures to be a top punter and kicker in 2011.

Another participant is Sean Wale of La Habra, known for his strong leg.

Kickers will be competing Monday afternoon, Tuesday and Wednesday, and the practices are open to the public.
