Football: Ex-Westlake center gets scholarship to Colorado

Being patient sometimes works out. That was the case for former Westlake Village Westlake center Brad Cotner, who has accepted a football scholarship to Colorado, Westlake Coach Jim Benkert said.
Cotner played for the Warriors in 2009, then sat out last season while taking some courses at College of the Canyons.
He got bigger and stronger, and Colorado made an offer. He’ll be a freshman this fall.
