Football: Crespi picks up lineman from Glendora
Encino Crespi's offensive line keeps getting bigger and bigger thanks to transfer students.
Last season, the Celts picked up Jordan Simmons from Dorsey. Now, 6-foot-6, 270-pound Colin Prestesater from Glendora has enrolled, according to Athletic Director Matt Luderer.
He joins Jacob Speer (5-10, 265), a transfer from Granada Hills, and tight end Tre Calahan (6-3, 275), who used to play basketball at Golden Valley.
They get my vote for the all-transfer line.
-- Eric Sondheimer

Ricky Wolfe is the Celts best lineman. He's bound for an Ivy League school.

I mean 6'3"...I think they switched the stats of the two:

Jacob Speer is actually 6'2" 280 lbs and has been practicing center. Going to be an exciting season.

#1 Reason. He probably makes more $$$$ than most college or pro line coaches.
#2 Freedom and Autonomy
#3 You get to work with kids before the become prima donnas at the next levels
Do you need more?

Hey Big G, if Mack is so damn good why is he coaching at the high school level? Best O/D/ line coach in the nation huh? That must include all of college and pro football. Ever heard of Tim Davis, Ed Ogeron to name a few? Its pretty easy to coach when you have really good players. Again, if he was that good he would be coaching in college or the pros. Oh, I forgot, at that level everyone has just about the same talent level and can recruit and draft.

How come coaches or ADs cant keep there mouth shut. Its good that everyone gets transfers lets just keep it a hush hush until the season starts.

Wow, Crespi is loading up on the OL. They'll be a much improved offense if they put in a run game to go along with their talented passing game.

Coach Mack is the best O/D-line Coach in the Nation. He turns average lineman into great lineman and good lineman into serious college prospects. What big guy wouldn't want the best to be their coach?

Why is that the CIF gives public schools a hard time about transfers, but it seems that they do nothing about private school transfers.
