Football: Chaminade is going blue

West Hills Chaminade’s new all-weather football field will be blue.

‘Florida blue, baby,’ Coach Ed Croson said.

Croson said the blue turf will be similar to the field at Boise State. Construction will be finished in time for the fall season.

Asked if a blue field will cause his team to win more games at home, Croson said, ‘It’s going to be pretty.’
