Football: Another soap opera unfolds at Ayala

June 21, 2011 |  5:32 pm

Chino Hills Ayala, the school that fired its basketball coach, then rehired him, then saw him resign, has now lost its football coach, Tom Inglima, because of budget cuts and school policy.

Inglima has been transferred to another school, the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported. And because Ayala doesn't want its football coach to be a walk on, the school will hire a new one.

It seems to me if the coach being transferred was named Bill Belichick, he'd be allowed to be a walk-on head coach.
