Football: 30-team Bonita tourney begins Friday

There will be 30 schools competing in the two-day La Verne Bonita seven-on-seven passing tournament that starts on Friday afternoon.

Pool A: Upland, Valencia, Villa Park, Don Lugo, Jurupa Hills, Pasadena. Pool B: Damien, Arroyo, Corona Santiago, Glendale, Jurupa Valley, Northview. Pool C: Hart, Anaheim Canyon, Kaiser, Glendora, La Serna, Riverside Poly. Pool D: Loyola, Walnut, Chino Hills, Eisenhower, San Gabriel, Webb. Pool E: Crescenta Valley, Bonita, Corona, Culver City, South El Monte, Whittier.

The Conejo Valley tournament takes place Friday and Saturday at Newbury Park, Westlake and Thousand Oaks. The Beverly Hills tournament will be held on Saturday at Beverly Hills.
