Boys’ basketball: London Perrantes makes a jump

London Perrantes, a junior point guard at Encino Crespi, has been gaining admirers with each summer basketball game, and this week’s Fairfax tournament is another opportunity for him to establish himself as one of the best in Southern California.
He has started to fill out physically, gaining in strength, and coaches have begun to notice.
‘He’s doing everything well,’ Coach Russell White said.
Crespi plays Pasadena at 4 p.m. at Fairfax.
He also plans to play quarterback for the football team after sitting out last season.
