Sophomore Sam Wasserman of Palisades and senior Robert Gsellman of Westchester are the co-players of the year from the Western League. Senior Dylan Jeffers of Palisades was the pitcher of the year and Marcus Wilson of Hamilton was the freshman of the year.

First-team all-league: P_Simon Harrison, Palisades, So.; Ryan Losman, Venice, Sr.; Marc Huberman, Hamilton, Jr.; C_Cary Jacobson, Palisades, Jr.; 1B_Joseph Phillip, Palisades, Sr.; 2B_Josh McKie, LACES, Sr.; 3B_Nolan Flashman, University, Sr.; SS_Nolan Sax, Venice, Sr.; Kenny Peoples-Walls, Westchester, Sr.; Christian Dye, LACES, Sr.; OF_Chase Holmes, Palisades, Sr.; Jason Barnett, Palisades, Jr.; Ryan Taylor, LACES, Jr.; UT_Spencer Simon, Palisades, So.

Comment: Based on how many returning all-leaguers it has, Palisades should be a City Section title contender in 2012.
