Palm Desert is looking for all the help it can get for its Division 4 championship game against Bishop Amat at Dodger Stadium, so former Dodger Manager Tommy Lasorda was in the dugout giving the Aztecs a pre-game pep talk.
He’s known as Uncle Tommy to Palm Desert’s Ryan Garvey, the son of former Dodger great Steve Garvey. Both Garveys were giving pre-game interviews. The star power is out. This could be the best game of the weekend.
It starts at 4:30 p.m.
