Baseball: San Fernando has reason to celebrate

San Fernando players were smiling and hugging after the Tigers knocked off Chatsworth, 8-6, Saturday at Dodger Stadium to win the school’s first City Section Division I championship since 1991.

Players said they believed they could beat top-seeded Chatsworth, but it took a strong pitching effort from Jose Reyes and timely hitting to defeat the Chancellors.
