Baseball: Clark, Kriske lead South to 7-2 win over North

In the first game of the North-South Series at San Diego State, Riverside North’s Gabriel Clark and Palm Desert’s Brooks Kriske each contributed two hits to help the South defeat the North, 7-2, in the opening game of the weekend series.

Dallas Bacon from Newhall Hart had a two-run triple, and Collin Yelich from Westlake had an RBI triple. Tim Borst from Tahquitz got the victory with three scoreless innings. Gabriel Cormiel from Narbonne threw two scoreless innings to gain the save.
