Baseball: Cardona is throwing with his best stuff

It’s going to be interesting if San Fernando can score against El Camino Real and ace Jose Cardona. After three innings, he has four strikeouts, has allowed one infield single and looks similar to when I saw him in last year’s 3-0, eight-inning playoff win against Banning in which he threw a one-hitter.

But going into the bottom of the third inning, David Lira of San Fernando has been able to keep the Conquistadores scoreless despite having men in scoring position.
