Track & Field: Clark wins 400 at City Finals

Rashard Clark of Dorsey won the boys’ 400-meter dash in 47.45 seconds at the City Section Championships in Lake Balboa. Chris Mitchell of Birmingham was second in 48.06 and Greg Veals of Dorsey was third in 48.25.

Carson teammates Monay Meggs (56.20) and Arbony Meighan (56.69)were first and second in the girls’ race and Tatiana McCoy was third in 57.56.

Through seven events, Dorsey is leading the boys’ competition with 44 points and Carson is first in the girls’ competition, also with 44 points.
