Softball: Top-seeded Esperanza is eliminated in Division 1

Call it the shocker in Southern Section Division 1 softball. Top-seeded Anaheim Esperanza was beaten by La Palma Kennedy, 3-1.

In Division 3, senior Kiana Quolas and freshman Kristen Cullen combined on a no-hitter to lift Westlake Village Oaks Christian past St. Paul, 8-0.
