Girls’ soccer: Santa Margarita’s Bohaboy is Gatorade state player of the year

Lauren Bohaboy of Santa Margarita has been selected the Gatorade state player of the year in girls’ soccer.
The 5-foot-7 senior forward had 51 goals and 10 assists this past season. She concluded her prep career with 100 goals and 34 assists. She has a 3.73 grade-point average and has signed with Notre Dame.
She becomes eligible for the Gatorade national player of the year award.
